Villa Barbaro, well knows as Villa of Maser, is a Venetian villa build by Andrea Palladio between the 1554 and the 1560. The villa was erected on commission of Barbaro family, a powerful family of the Republic of Venice.
The villa includes also a Palladian tempietto. Since 1996, the villa has been part of UNESCO World Heritage Site with other Venetian villa.
The villa is surrounded by a garden where you can admire the beauty of different perfumed plant. The villa is open to visits and events all year long. To visit a Palladian villa and his surroundings rich of charm and history it just like to be in a different atmosphere.
For history and culture lovers, Villa Barbaro is the ideal place to visit medieval towns such as Asolo or historic villa such as Villa Emo in Vedelago. For sport lovers “Asolo golf” is ideal thanks to his golf course of 27 holes in Val Cavasia.
Others activities are available such as bike tour in Montello or mountain bike tour on Asolo Hills or para-glider in Grappa.
In the heart of D.O.C. area of Asolo Hills the villa produces wines that you can taste in the wine bar.
