The seventeenth century Villa Widman-Borletti, has, for centuries, been the historic site of Dominio di Bagnoli and was the project of the famous architect Baldassare Longhena.
It comprises the Villa, the Brolo (including the pre-existing medieval monastery gardens), the theater, the cellars, the granary, the stables and the pigeon loft.
The group of statues around the villa represents the 12 signs of the zodiac with some of the gods of Olympus. Thanks to his charm, the villa was a point of reference for intellectuals and artists such as Carlo Goldoni. Nowadays, the villa is a holiday farm. The old factories became rooms where you can taste dishes from Padova. These rooms are the perfect solution for every kind of event such as congresses, business dinner, wedding and so forth. The villa has got 12 apartments well-furnished. Every accommodation consists in two bedroom and two bath. They have laundry, bikes, warming and air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and TV, swimming pool with sun bed and beach umbrella. There is also an agricultural company (propriety of Bagnoli family) near the villa called “Dominio di Bagnoli”. The most important part of the company is the ancient wine cellar.
For centuries the wines aging in the cellar and there are barrels of 5000 liters of wine.
